The NIV perverts the Lord's Sample Prayer

Bible facts tidbit #2

The King James Version

Luke 11:2-4 "And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.  Give us day by day our daily bread.  And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil".

New International Version

Luke 11:2-4 "And He said to them, “When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation."

The NIV removes everything that refers to a Holy God in heaven -"WHICH ART IN HEAVEN. . . Thy will be done, AS IN HEAVEN, so in earth. . . but DELIVER US FROM EVIL."Everything that distinguishes God from the Devil is REMOVED! I wonder who the "OUR FATHER" of the NIV is , and who it could be if he is not in heaven and can't deliver us from evil?

There is an evil agenda at hand with these modern versions, the enemy is strategically attacking God's Word!!!
